At cross country meets, I assisted by handing out wristbands to runners and directing them along the course to keep the event organized and efficient. This role helped me develop strong communication skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to stay focused in high-energy environments.

As a member of the National Math Honor Society, I tutored students in math after school, helping them strengthen their understanding of key concepts and improve their academic performance. Through this experience, I developed strong communication and teaching skills, as well as patience and the ability to explain complex topics in simple, relatable ways. It was rewarding to see students grow more confident in their abilities, and it reinforced my passion for helping others succeed.

For Earth Day, I helped plan and lead a school-wide garbage cleanup around campus with a team of students. We organized volunteers, divided the school grounds into zones, and provided supplies to ensure an efficient cleanup. This experience strengthened my teamwork, leadership, and event planning skills, while also helping improve the school’s environment and encouraging students to take pride in keeping our campus clean.

As a Student Council member, I organized our high school’s Red Cross blood drive, managing event logistics, coordinating with Red Cross staff, and promoting participation among students and faculty. This experience strengthened my leadership, communication, and organizational skills while teaching me how to adapt and problem-solve in a fast-paced setting.

I previously volunteered for four years assisting a teacher in dance classes for young children. In this role, I helped manage the class environment, supported students as they learned routines, and contributed to maintaining a fun and structured atmosphere. Through this experience, I developed strong communication and leadership skills by giving clear instructions and keeping the children engaged. I also gained valuable experience in teamwork by collaborating closely with the teacher and learned to be patient, adaptable, and attentive to the individual needs of each child. This opportunity helped build my confidence in working with kids and taught me how to support learning in a creative, supportive setting.
