Recognized as the youngest promoted Lieutenant in my department, I have led personnel during critical incidents, overseen operational readiness, and maintained strict quality assurance standards. Review
Witnessed cardiac arrest by family member. SCFD E26 & R26 responded and worked a code. Pulses back en route to hospital and patient was able to walk out of hospital a week later with no deficits. This was published in Seminole county’s newspaper and aired on Wesh-2 news.
Today crews from A Shift R11, E11 (Altamonte Springs), R22 and E22 (Casselberry) and a member of the Emergency Communications Center were presented with a Life Saving Award for a medical call that was initially dispatched for one patient. The scene quickly changed and they ended up with three patients, all in serious condition. The professional, efficient and effective manner in which everyone responded to this very difficult call resulted a very positive outcome for all three patients! Congratulations to all!
Receiving the Life Saving Award were: E11 Lt. Mirisola, Fire Fighter/Paramedic R. Husty, Fire Fighter/Paramedic N. Calzone, R11 Fire Fighter/Paramedic K. Buckler, Fire Fighter R. Green, E22 Lt. M.
