While stationed near the Canadian border in Bellingham, WA as a Integrated Cross-border Maritime Law Enforcement Officer I performed over one hundred hours of joint maritime patrols with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police ensuring the safety and security of our borders from illegal smuggling to include people, narcotics, and firearms. The Cross-border designation and dual partnership while deployed with the RCMP allowed our mission to observe cross-border criminality and pursue into either US or Canadian waters.
