My job duties are to handle all produce sales to the grocery stores that we supply in the tri-state area, visit and meet with potential new businesses, and assist in accounts receivables. I am also given the responsibility of having a company credit card to make purchases for our business. These duties consist of daily check-ins to current stores, conversing with them about what we have in stock, and what they may need. I also meet with new clientele and speak with them about what we have to offer, and why we would be a great supplier for them. This job has taught me wonderful people skills, how important it is to be very personable with my clients, and to have a close, professional relationship with our vendors and buyers.
A typical workday for me at the dentist office was filled with answering all phone calls, communicating with insurance companies, filing paperwork, scheduling patients, and assisting in handling accounts receivables. During these tasks, I had the responsibility of assessing what the patient needed to be scheduled for and retrieving insurance information. During my time at the Sneads Police Department, I had many responsibilities. These responsibilities included handling confidential information and handling all calls that came to the department. At times, those calls required an officer to be dispatched to a certain location, and I would have to communicate that information with the officer on duty.
During my shift the officer I was assigned to would have several location check-ins that needed to be reported to me, which I would then log into our system. I would also have to assist my officer in all traffic stops, house calls, checking for any warrants and logging any reports reported back from my officer
