Combat life saver

AAR (ARMY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

As a specialist I was put in a dfac for training purposes. Our lead NCO had gotten taken off of the mission resulting in the absence of leadership among my fellow lower enlisted. I took over and continued the flow of the kitchen. My leadership not only said that the food coming from my dfac was the best dfac food they have ever had but they also recognized the responsibility I took on in that role.
