MATERIAL HANDLER

L3 HARRIS
Philadelphia, PA

  • Once accepted by QC, I would retrieve parts from the QC team. Once I retrieved the accepted material, I transported the material to the stockroom. Once there I would look up the part by its number to determine where it is in the stockroom. I was responsible for sorting the parts and placing into its correct location.
  • I would utilize my material requirements planning system to locate the location of each component on the list. Once I found each location of each component. I would then take my cart and go retrieve each component on the list.
  • Once I confirmed that all components were accounted for in the Manufacturing Order’s project code, I issued the material to the job.
  • Once a sub-assembly was completed by an assembler, it would go to quality assurance for approval. Once approved, I brought the completed sub-assembly into the stockroom and tagged for next level utilization.
