I have over six years of direct patient care experience in the inpatient hospital setting; this experience was obtained working on a variety of med-surg units. My experience involves coordinating and managing care of patients from admission to discharge, while working closely with other members of the healthcare team to accomplish patient treatment goals. My duties commonly included administering medications of various routes, performing wound care, monitoring telemetry, inserting urinary catheters and peripheral IVs, and providing patient/family education.
