Envision | Advanced Emergency Medicine in Collaboration with Stanford Medicine. In January of 2020 I got accepted into the Stanford program, but due to COVID restrictions I was not able to attend.

Emerge | Medical Conference

  • I attended Emerge medical conference in my sophomore year of high school (2018), along with my biology teacher and a few classmates. The program is offered in the summer to high school students interested in the medical field. At the conference, everyone is introduced to doctors, surgeons and nurses. Throughout the conference they show you how to work medical devices as well as how to complete certain procedures. Those procedures included, but not limited to, intubation, burr hole insertions and IV's.

Football Assistant | High School Football Team

  • The majority of my time in high school was spent assisting the football team's head coach throughout my sophomore and junior years. These responsibilities included arranging banquets, recording data, and making sure the equipment was adequate. It included, but was not limited to, ensuring that the players' fitness levels met playing requirements and that their paperwork were in order to guarantee playing time.
