Summary

My primary goal as an educator is to provide inclusive instruction to my students while developing a passion for German language and culture. It is important that the diversity in my lesson plans matches the diversity of the environments we all live in. During my undergraduate education, I had the opportunity to work as a student employee at German Online. This allowed me to work with experienced educators and learn effective remote teaching strategies for high school students. I also gained experience of working with school staff and administrators. During my graduate studies, I have had opportunity to teach undergraduates in both remote as well as online settings. I completed a teaching methodologies course to ensure I follow the communicative language teaching approach. I also enrolled in teaching development workshops to improve teaching effectiveness and engagement in a constantly evolving profession.
