Provides support to patients and their families by assisting in completing medical forms and collecting fees as per insurance protocol, responsible for assuring the readiness of the reception area, opening the building at the designated time and having all front desk services fully operational at the start of the business hours, scheduled appointments and performed all necessary clerical duties to insure office efficiency, and collected all personal, medical, and insurance information to provide accurate verification of benefits.
Obtained patient vital signs, infant heel sticks, blood sugar checks, monitored inpatients, assisted nurses/providers with procedures, assisted patients with activities of daily living, charted with electronic medical records, and served as the secretary of the unit based counsel.
