Monitor deviations from standard within Production Order Management (POM) master data, inventory, global POM Business Rules, plant work processes, and/or order variances investigate the cause for the deviation and correct data in SAP or other systems as appropriate. Reconcile and close production orders after all production posting is complete. Complete all month-end close activities.

Work with site logistics personnel and expertise centers to coordinate, prioritize and schedule plant activities. Requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments. Evaluate analytical or scientific problems in unusual situations and select solutions based on established procedures. Serve as an informal resource on operational, administrative, data organization, or coordination tasks for less experienced team members with no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities / Duties
Monitor production deviation from standard, investigate cause for deviations, and correct data in SAP as appropriate. Reconcile and close raw material, product inventory, and production/period orders after all production posting is complete
Monitor cost variance and utility yield data in SAP at an appropriate frequency. Identify items that are exceeding deviation tolerance and develop plan to resolve root causes
Maintain Bills of Materials and Routing table data in SAP and determines appropriate changes. Monitor and
update SAP master table data for new products/raw materials and deletion of discontinued products/raw materials
Create and maintain detailed records of management systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
Analyze and improve existing management systems, resulting in increased efficiency and cost savings
Train and educate staff on the use of management systems, resulting in improved performance and customer satisfaction
Support the business in maintaining the Operations Discipline Management System (ODMS) and maximizing value from ODMS use in the department. Requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments. Act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.
