Summary

Experienced and motivated Substation Electrician apprentice who has managed equipment and inventory across the Duke Energy system. I’ve continued to coordinate with management to perform routine maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting tasks. Maintained and administered physical structures and equipment in power company control houses, power plants and operation buildings using hand and power tools. Attended staff and departmental safety meetings and utilized teamwork to overcome any obstacles. Since 2016 I have maintained my NERC compliance at the Energy Control Center and NERC control houses. Coordinated and trained fellow employees, and provided supervision as needed. Adapted to multiple changing schedules and implemented safe working processes. I continue to be very eager with learning all the ins and outs of the power system while continuing my education in Electrical Engineering.
