Experienced and motivated Substation Electrician apprentice who has managed equipment and inventory across the Duke Energy system. I’ve continued to coordinate with management to perform routine maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting tasks. Attended staff and departmental safety meetings and utilized teamwork to overcome any obstacles. Since 2016 I have maintained my NERC compliance at the Energy Control Center and NERC control houses. Coordinated and trained fellow employees, and provided supervision as needed. Adapted to multiple changing schedules and implemented safe working processes. - Maintain my switching and tagging in the substation for ECC/ DCC
- Repair / replace control wire and equipment in the substations
- Assist Relay with troubleshooting equipment and wiring in the control houses
- Continue to progress through Duke Energy Transmission Substation apprenticeship, currently I’ve passed my MSARQ and scheduled for Level 3B January 2025
