VA Hospital Volunteer Program, fall 2022- fall 2022

• Assisted in areas of Gastroenterology (GI), Critical Access Unit (CAU), and warehouse/supplies. Aided in transporting patients to and from appointments within the hospital. Provided companionship and emotional support to veterans.

Vice President for Spring 2023 Nursing Cohort, spring 2023-current

• My role as vice president is to be a liaison between my cohort and faculty, ensuring effective communication and addressing concerns. I foster a sense of unity within the group, organizing activities and offering support to enhance academic and emotional well-being. My role is pivotal in advocating for cohort needs, promoting professionalism, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, ultimately preparing my peers for the challenges and responsibilities of a nursing career.
