  • Worked with multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver patient centered care.
  • Patient's were sent to floor post RRT's on medical surgical floors or downgrades from ICU. As well as critical patients sent from the emergency department.
  • On the unit we could titrate drips such all amiodarone, cardizem, cardene, and nitro (for high blood pressure, not chest pain). We also could perform Q 2 hour monitoring on patients such as CIWA, accue check's, and peritoneal dialysis.
  • The unit also accepted all O2 requirements including highflow, vapotherm, and bipap.
  • After 6 months off orientation nursing staff can get floated to ICU to receive low level ICU patients or PCU level patients.
