• This is done using various welding processes including SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), GMAW-P (Gas Metal Arc Welding Pulse) welds are made in all positions using both manual and mechanized processes to perform welds to right weld size depending on weld symbols/blueprints and ensuring that it meets Navy Criteria and visual standards
