  • Enhanced the in-house OMS to increase the order processing more than twenty times with the same technology stack (J2EE, WebSphere, Spring, Hibernate, JMS, MQ).
  • Migrated the in house Children's Place OMS to Manhattan OMS 2015
  • Designed and developed a service layer for OMS. The main purpose of the layer was to isolate Manhattan OMS from the internal and external vendors and use the services for eCommerce and systems related (J2EE, JBoss, Spring, Hibernate, MQ).
  • Integrated the Manhattan OMS with eCommerce and others to provide services for order history, fraud verification, address validation, taxes calculation, eMail integration, etc.
  • Designed and developed multiple applications like a loyalty rewards program, returns and adjustment system for OMS, gift card valuation, WCS, and Omniture integration, USPS integration, etc.
  • Designed and developed an application to calculate the merchandising landing cost for the company products. Designed multiple web-services interfaces oriented to automate and integrate the merchandising account payable system with the information provided by vendors and brokers.

  • In three years the operation of the company went from paper base operation to a completely online operation for booking, documentation, and equipment control fully integrated via EDI with terminals and vendors
  • Designed and implemented the LAN/WAN for the company with more than seventeen nodes over many different countries
  • Relocated and opened multiple branch offices and data centers and developed core systems for the organization to control its operations in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Latin America
  • Designed and implemented the EDI system between the terminal, depots, customers, and carriers with this company, with more than 2000 EDI transactions per day, using Gentran Server and AS400.
  • Implemented EDI interchanges with customers/vendors, some of those partners were Ford, GM, BDP, DFY, Target, and all the most important terminal ports in the USA
  • Designed, and implemented the most important systems for this company like Customer, Booking, Imports, Exports, Intermodal, EDI System, Account Receivable, Account Payable, and Claims. These systems connected all the offices in the US, Mexico, Canada, and Central America.

  • Designed and implemented the most important systems for the Organization in Chile. From non-integrated systems, CSAV went four years to a completely integrated operation that allowed customer service to book, prepare the documentation, and track the cargo online in Chile.
  • Designed, developed, and implemented more than twelve different systems to control the most important processes for the company. The most important systems were Customer, Booking, Imports, Exports, EDI system, Invoicing, Accounts receivable, Market system, Manifest system, and Income system.
  • Designed, developed, and implemented the operational system, to connect the terminals, the container depots, and the stevedores. This system permitted the control on-line all the operations regarding the imports and exports of cargo.
  • Connected online all the offices, agencies, terminals, and depots to use the systems detailed above. The head of the EDI department implemented EDIFACT messages generated from the DEC back-end system using Sterling Mentor.
