Charged with designing and delivering Softtek’s responses to bids (RFP, RFQ, RFS) and proposals for potential customers, many of which are fortune 500 companies.
Responsibilities varied from creating material for and presenting Softtek’s services to prospective customers; analyze and process customer information (tickets, project requirements), business needs & objectives and use that input to orchestrate the creative process for our solution design and the creation of the components and exhibits that compose our solution. Manage teams from different technological backgrounds and geographical locations, always making sure that the objectives and the components required are addressed, clearly explained and structured in a response that would all but ensure a competitive bid for multi-million dollar engagements
Key Tasks:
• Manage, design and execute the bid management process for the solution design
• Manage teams, deadlines and deliverables while ensuring top tier solution design and quality deliverables that make for a competitive bid by analyzing industry trends, new business objectives or shifts in the marketplace
• Renew current contracts with existing customers thru the improvement of current service delivery or project execution by creative cost reduction methods or increased production, automation, DevOps or Agile Methodologies
As part of the Application Development Practice’s Technical Solutions team, I was charged with implementing innovative development methodologies, technologies and solutions. Innovation was a key element in the success of our sales records and increasing hit rates. I was also part of one of the teams responsible for fully incorporating Agile methodologies, DevOps and emerging technologies (cloud, qtp) into our solutions and thus enabling Softtek to be one of the first IT providers to fully provide Cloud Solutions and Agile Solutions using Agile Cells of mixed teams (developers, qa teams, BA’s).
Key Tasks:
• Create, customize and present Application Development services, methodologies, standards and benefits
• Assess, process, estimate, design and create solutions customized to address our Customer’s specific development needs, business objectives and proposal/project requirements for development projects
• Process, interpret and use requirements input to develop technical solutions based on specific customer needs, industry patterns or trends that could supply our customers with a competitive edge:
• Execute Assessments to identify areas of opportunity in new/existing customers and identify gaps where Softtek can capitalize on our technical knowledge, adaptability, geographical advantage and Right Value Generation model (nearshore, offshore, onsite).
• Serve as a consultant to our customers and assist them in creating business cases to justify investments in the desired project
