Project

ENSC Project 1 - Automated pump system.

  • Developed a self-automated water pump system equipped with multiple sensors to interact and adapt with its surroundings.
  • Integrated a wireless transmitter, enabling remote control of various functions such as water level management, cooling system, and a heating unit.
  • Data regarding the apparatus is displayed on an LED display panel.
  • Security added to unit by using a password restriction for the panel.

ENSC Project 2 - Rehabilitation product "On The Clock!".

  • Built a product that incorporates a range of interactive challenges that must be completed within a specific timeframe to achieve victory. These challenges encompass tasks like password encryption, a Simon game, solving riddles, and using a digital rotary encoder.
  • The primary goal was to aid patients in hospitals who may have experienced cognitive and motor skill impairment due to surgery or other medical events. The product "On The Clock!" accomplishes this by engaging patients in enjoyable activities that place an emphasis on memory, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

Sign Language Interpreter

  • Developed a sign language interpreter and teaching application using machine learning libraries and object detection principles.
  • Created a customized dataset and trained the data leveraging GPU's and personal resources for 2D gesture recognition.
  • Using a webcam to detect signs In-real-time, the detected speech is then converted to it's corresponding text that is displayed on a panel.
  • Developed a user-friendly graphical interface (GUI) application from scratch that enables users to navigate the possible functions integrated for personal use.
  • The device is also intended to provide a comprehensive platform for practicing sign language.

Drone Programming - Instruction Based

  • Provided lessons for students to program drones from DJI.
  • Course included python scripting that enabled control over drone via a computer.
  • Used OpenCV library to perform autonomous flight via face recognition.
  • Scripted other autonomous features such as object detection to perform obstacle avoidance.

Machine Learning as a service (MaaS)

  • Developed a product that takes in user information and imports them into a Deep Learning Neural Network stored in the cloud. The Model then takes in the information and outputs a prediction.
  • The neural network is designed to identify what is going on in a 3D space such as a video recording. More specifically, I designed a system that can tell the difference between one sport from another.

Senior Design - Power Analysis System

  • Apparatus tests the validity and design of any electrical subsystem within an existing infrastructure using technologies such as transducer and step down amp transformer.
  • Robust design for 24/7 continual data acquisition
  • All power information regarding a circuit is then stored and sparse via a server where diagnostics is performed and displayed
  • Wrote technical reports regarding performance, safety, and overall design specifications
  • Front-end and back-end development.
  • PLC for industry grade microcontroller
  • HMI to display real-time information on the device.
