As a pitman on a drilling rig I was primarily responsible with making sure the mud weight was up to the mud engineers specifications in terms of weight and viscosity. Additionally I was responsible for assisting the derrickman with mixing chemicals, maintaining and fixing mud pumps and make sure the shakers and shaker screens are in optimal conditions
