Vendor management
Weekly reporting through our maintenance system, Upkeep, to ensure maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner
Responsible for the adherence and reporting of safety breaches
Manage work requests submitted for office areas, including our HQ and auxiliary facilities located in San Carlos, Gilroy and Santa Clara
Proper setup and storage of cleaning equipment
Replacement of HVAC equipment, lighting, plumbing system parts
Maintenance of carpentry items such as doors, painting, millwork, etc
Ensuring equipment (utility generation, distribution, and skid built) is operating under normal system parameters

Maintains cleanliness of interior and exterior of the facility

The biggest focus is they have an increased number of negative pressure rooms by 42 rooms (net new), and that number is increasing to 54 rooms
We need additional stationary engineers to do daily checks to ensure these rooms are maintaining the correct negative pressure, and to troubleshoot as needed
Test, install, repair and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on: mechanical equipment and systems; plumbing systems and components: electrical, electronic, alarm and computer controlled systems; emergency generators and components, fire alarm systems and medical gas system
Fabricate, install, and repair various metal/sheet metal objects and perform general machine shop work using proper techniques, a wide variety of tools, equipment, and measuring devices
Operate and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning and fire alarm systems, medical gas systems, and related equipment in accordance with operations, safety, and regulatory requirements
Follow oral and/or written instructions
Read, understand, and work from shop drawings, maintenance manuals and blueprint
Maintain appropriate records
Keep supervisor informed as to status of assignments, emergency and safety situations and other matters which may affect the operation of the departments
