- Supervised and managed HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Construction, Plumbing, Carpentry, Paint, and assisted with Events with Tarleton State University for approximately 45 buildings, and over 15,000 students living on campus.
- Assign and assist with work orders, scheduling and appropriate tasks with the priority needed to resolve work related to the repair. Ensure all time, description, materials and equipment are accurate to each work order.
- Ensure that all facility systems receive routine preventative maintenance and inspections including but not limited to:
HVAC- scheduling of coil wash outs and all filters to be cleaned and changed with the proper schedule.
Mechanical- ensure all pumps, motors, belts, and y strainers are maintained for proper function.
Plumbing- maintaining of sub pumps, boilers, and back flows to meet TCEQ requirements.
Electrical-make sure all exit signs and proper lighting are up to compliance. Construction/Carpentry/Paint- monitoring of all buildings needed of any repairs of walls, ceilings, flooring, doors and hardware for any repair needed.
- Worked with outside contractors to get the proper quotes and verified jobs were completed to customer satisfaction.
- Process of proper RTP (request to purchase) forms and submit all receipts from P card to match RTP and work orders.
- Participated in recruitment efforts by interviewing prospective candidates for open positions.
- Evaluated employee performance through periodic reviews and documented results accordingly.
- Implement good policy procedures, attendance and safety rewards.
- Schedule on-call employees and assist when needed for after hours emergencies with 45 minute response to all calls.
- Conduct weekly safety training meeting for all areas while implementing good safety quality and determining improvements in the areas needed.
- Communication with all employees, managers, assistant directors, directors for a transparent atmosphere for the workplace.
- Ensure all equipment materials, tools, supplies are properly stored and inventoried
- Assisted Risk Management with draining of fire sprinkler systems during extreme cold temperatures to avoid frozen pipes and filling systems back up at appropriate times. Operated fire panel control systems.
