  • As the manager and leader of a direct-to-consumer group retiree program, I oversaw a team of 25 agents who handled high-level consumer accounts for clients such as the federal government, IBM, and AT&T. Our primary goal was to transition their Medicare plans to our group account.
  • In my role, I was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program, from generating reports to conducting high-level presentations to ensure the success of the Group Retiree Miami site. We established the site from the ground up with only 17 agents, and through strategic planning and execution, we were able to grow the team to 55 agents and add an additional leader with the Group Retiree space.
  • In addition to my managerial duties, I also played a critical role in assisting with AEP (Annual Enrollment Period) readiness launch. This included training new agents as they came onboard and ensuring that all compliance and sales practices were aligned with the requirements of CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) and the organization.
  • I took great care to ensure that all training sessions were thorough and comprehensive, and I worked diligently to provide support and guidance to the team throughout the training process. By doing so, I was able to help carry UHC's vision of elevating the experience and ensure that our team was well-equipped to meet the needs of our clients and provide exceptional service to our customers.
