Ship Service Diesel Generator Technician

• Perform organizational and /or intermediate level maintenance in accordance with diesel engine tech manual standardized maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul diesel generator stationary parts, principal moving and related components.
• Completed frequent inspections, identified concerns and corrected problems independently.
• Perform operation test after repairs following work package procedures to keep the machinery operating in the most efficient manner possible.
• Ability to conduct checks utilizing precision measuring tools(dial indicators, dial/vernier caliper, micrometer, deflection gauge, torque wrench).

Operate, maintain, and repair of diesel engines used for ship propulsion, electrical power generation, clutches, main reduction gears, drive shaft, controllable pitch propellers, auxiliary equipment and other services such as lube/fuel oil purifiers, pumps, water desalination plants, potable water systems,

Work Center Supervisor

• Directly in charge of 14 personnel.
• Established and maintained weekly schedules for each person based on qualifications and experience.
