  • Based on the project estimate bid from the sales engineer and following mechanical design drawings and specs, I completed the control engineering submittal and programming for each system in the project. On-site, I directly execute or provide support to subcontractors and/or technicians for installing controllers, download programs and database to network engines. I Managed projects financially, with the goal of keeping margins for at least as they were forecasted.
  • Texas Tech University Health Science Center (Lubbock, TX) Retrofit Control Systems for TTUHSC which includes new controllers for all the AHUs and mechanical systems, sensors and actuators, adding new graphics and uploading new network engines to the customer’s network.
  • Texas Tech University (Lubbock, TX) Retrofit Control Systems for TTU which includes new controllers for AHUs and mechanical systems on different buildings including New Academic Science building and its Bio Safety Labs, Student Union Center, Music Building, Math Building, Administration Building, Jones Stadium, TTU Museum, Black Center, Drake Hall, etc. full Commissioning of systems, coordination with subcontractors for sensors, control valves and actuators, adding new graphics and uploading new network engines to the customer’s Control System.
  • Court Place Building (Lubbock, TX) Retrofit Control Systems for which includes new controllers for all the AHUs and VAV boxes on the entire building and mechanical systems, new Variable frequency drives, control valves, sensors and actuators, adding new graphics and adding network engines to the customer’s control System.
  • South Plains Surgery Center (Lubbock, TX) New Control Systems for all the AHUs and mechanical systems, including Operating Rooms. Full Commissioning of systems, coordination with subcontractors for sensors, control valves and actuators, adding new graphics and uploading new network engines to the customer’s Control System.

  • Responsible for HVAC & Control systems maintenance work groups at ITESM Campus Monterrey. Our Johnson Controls METASYS system is an Ethernet WAN with 18 NC’s, 1 NIE, 6 NAE’s and more than 1,350 control equipment, 2nd largest METASYS network in Mexico.
  • Planning and design HVAC maintenance program using Microsoft Project for more than 1,300 equipment, 6,000 tons of refrigeration.
  • Responsible for financial results of assigned Control systems projects and maintenance program including budget planning, purchase orders and payment to subcontractors. Our Annual budget for this is $100,000 U.S.
  • Plan and design Manager for new HVAC control systems using JC technology. I give work directions to subcontractors and technicians, delegating tasks to them, including installation coordination and hardware connections.
  • Programming control strategies with JC equipment.
  • Commissioning of all controllers, certify complete system functionality, final review and project closeout.
