Summary

Moving from Arizona to California ten years ago, I brought with me a vast knowledge of HVAC and many years of experience in supervising and leading the maintenance and facilities department. Growing my leadership in Santa Barbara Unified School District, I am effective at providing 18 facilities with high-quality maintenance services and daily operations support. I am proficient in handling all types of building needs, as well as contracting out larger projects. I work closely with contractors, outside companies providing services to our schools and with our community. I lead by example and leverage strengths in others as they continue learning their craft.

I am a knowledgeable facilities supervisor with 10+ years of experience in team leadership, budget management and maintenance scheduling. I'm well-versed in overseeing diverse repairs, routine maintenance and special projects. I often have to make quick decisions regarding safety and regularly visit school sites to be aware of facilities.

Supervising 40 employees in the multiple shops, I'm an organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. I'm always willing to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.
