Throughout the majority of my life, I was at the receiving end of healthcare. I acted as the interpreter for my family to understand and navigate my father's battle with cancer. This instilled my life-long passion not only for medicine but also for becoming a bridge that connects my experience as a first-generation immigrant to providing for those who don't have a voice and who need it most. I am seeking to refine this notion with my nursing education to provide the highest quality patient care.
Nominated for and awarded the B.E.E award.
