- In this project, me and a group of team members were tasked with creating a prototype for a device or invention that helps the common people in their day-to-day jobs. We chose to design a product for office workers due to their prevalence and the challenges they face, such as work-life balance and time management issues. Many office workers struggle with poor posture, leading to long-term health problems. Our goal is to enhance their work experience and overall well-being by integrating a device into their daily workflow. The product will feature a posture-correcting buzzer, a desk organizer for office supplies, a fan with an on/off button, and an LED display with positive affirmations. This design aims to improve posture, boost morale, and create a healthier, more enjoyable work environment. Within this project, we split the tasks into two teams where one team worked on the coding and wiring part for the actual Arduino gadget and the other team created the modeling. Eventually we were able to create the prototype using non-expensive materials.
