Consequently, all areas had to be adapted to this new situation—including the installation of security barriers and inspection zones, the construction of new buildings, and infrastructure upgrades—to ensure safe operations.
- In 2021, new opportunities and clients emerged following extensive work on adaptation, new product launches, and new equipment integration. This new inventory was added to the maintenance schedule, and the stock of spare parts in the tool crib was increased. Maintenance staff levels were raised, and additional training was conducted to prepare personnel to handle a wider range of components—such as VFDs and stepper motors—as well as new equipment, including two 50-hp screw compressors, pneumatic dryers, and chillers.
- In 2022, our manager (a U.S. citizen) was promoted to oversee both SpotSee plants—one in Dallas, Texas, and the other in Chihuahua, Mexico. The new manager arrived with fresh plans and brought in new replacement staff for many areas; consequently, once responsibilities were handed over to the new employees, some of us area supervisors were no longer needed.
