Safety was a huge concern and worked under the motto of "all injuries are preventable" regulated by MSHA, their were no room for errors.
We mined Lignite (coal) using heavy equipment such, Cat 785, Cat 777, Cat 340 haul trucks. And a variety of bull dozers such as D11, D10, D9, D7, D6. Maintained haul roads using Cat motor graders and land plains.
Performed divers jobs, such as dewatering future mining sites, build poly pipe to connect to water pumps, perform general maintenance to water pumps.

I started out as a oil field roustabout labor, my duties consisted of a wide variety of jobs. A year and a half later, I was promoted to Crew Foremen, eventually becoming a Heavy equipment operator after becoming fascinated by the capabilities and mechanical functions of heavy machinery.
