Responsible for purchasing of raw materials for down hole tools components based on specific manufacturing requirements, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Assist in strategic purchasing to optimize pricing and lead times while coordinating the outsourcing of machining services and secondary processes to meet production demands. Assists in in-house machining operations, supports engineering projects by sourcing materials and services that meet technical specifications, and contributes to process improvements. Creates work routers, purchase orders, and tracking sheets for new manufacturing projects while collaborating with material, machining, and process vendors to enhance efficiency. Utilizes strategic negotiation and planning skills to streamline procurement and production workflows.
Coordinate the incoming rework in the machine shop to ensure that specific time deadlines are met, assignment of work, tracking of components during the machining process, organization of components according to specifications and creation of corresponding documentation with technical specifications and prints of each component to work with instruction guide for the rework process.
