  • Here I worked as a leasing consultant, along with being someone who helped the corporate team with a few projects
  • These projects included testing out new training software and reviewing it, a philanthropy project, where I got to work with a nonprofit organization known as Warren Village and I set up my own event, coordinating a multi-community Drive along with coordinating the sorting of those materials with Warren Village afterwards, and finally doing research on self guided touring systems for the corporate team to provide an analysis as to what Griffis should do in the future with regard to them
  • While working as a leasing consultant, I learned the many different details of the job, along with the property roles of the assistant community manager and community manager, while I was a leasing consultant, and I got to employ my skills of customer service, and ended up helping residents ensure that they were feeling at home with us here at Griffis Residential, along with working on some of my sales skills as well
  • This internship was incredible, and I had a lot of fun building these skills and working with the many different teams that allowed me to

Machine Operator

Preece Machining and Assembly
05.2023 - 08.2023
  • Here I worked as a machine operator whose primary duty was to run the machine with parts that I had prepared on pallets in order for them to be accurate to the thousandth of an inch
  • After running the production parts I would then clean them up, measure them, test threads and deburr anything that seemed “messy”
  • I would do this for a large majority of my 8 hour shift everyday and would make around 50 of the more complicated parts a day and around 90 of the less complicated depending on which parts I was told to work on throughout the day
  • Along with this I was also entrusted to keep the machine in “working order” through cleaning, refilling coolant and generally just keeping my work space tidy

General Retail Associate

Walmart
06.2022 - 08.2022
  • I worked here full time over the summer for around 2 and 1⁄2 months and in that time I became one of the most “utilized” employees
  • I was originally hired to do gardening in the back of the store's outdoor section but my managers quickly realized that unlike a large majority of their employees I didn't lack work ethic, so I didn't stay in the gardening position for long
  • Soon I was stocking shelves when needed, doing backroom loading and unloading and just generally running around the store with a set of keys to unlock merchandise

Bagger/Stocking

King Soopers
05.2022 - 06.2022
  • I was here for a short time at the beginning of the summer and while I was here, I worked primarily as a grocery bagger for people who didn't want to use the self-service lanes
  • Despite this though, I mostly worked the closing shift so their need for me as a bagger was not something that I was typically doing
  • Instead I was usually either restocking or re-facing shelves, cleaning the bathrooms, entryways and the occasional aisle, and then I also prepared the lanes for the morning with replenished bags and cleaning supplies

Pool Table Delivery/Warehouse Associate

Fodor Billiards
06.2021 - 08.2021
  • I worked here full-time over the summer for 2 and a ½ months, from 9am-whenever we finished our work
  • We would either go to people's houses and fix their pool tables, load up the truck from the warehouse for delivery and go deliver and install the pool tables or shuffle boards, or drive up to one of the other shops within the state, either in Denver or Longmont in order to fulfill orders and transfer supplies
  • If there was very little work I would stay at the warehouse and get it organized and cleaned

Crew Member

Panda Express
06.2020 - 08.2020
  • I was front-of-house, and mostly worked as a server or someone who prepared your food as you chose the options
  • I also cleaned, did dishes, and cut vegetables whenever needed
  • Also, in the morning shift, I would do food preparation in the morning and anything else that needed to be done that wasn't completed through the night shift the night before
  • I was eventually trained in cooking food but never really did much more than fried rice or white rice because I was not 18 yet
  • Also, along with my daily duties, every Wednesday morning the truck would come and I would be unloading boxes and stocking the fridge and freezer

Weekly Office Cleaner/Landscaper

  • For cleaning I vacuumed, dusted, cleaned toilets and sinks, mopped the floors and just did general upkeep every week for the office space
  • For landscaping I pulled weeds, mowed lawns or just did general upkeep work for both of my father's offices in Colorado Springs

Crew Member

McDonald's
05.2019 - 07.2019
  • I was trained in all of the cooking areas at first, such as fries, grills, smoothies, deserts, and breakfast but eventually they ended up putting me on the drive thru for a large majority of my shifts
  • Also, when I wasn't working in the drive through it was constant cooking, grabbing boxes, reloading machines, or doing dishes

Golf Caddy

Broadmoor Hotel
05.2018 - 07.2018
  • Company Overview: a 5-star and 5-diamond resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado
  • I was a golf caddy at the Broadmoor, a 5-star and 5-diamond resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado
  • I worked there when I was 14 through a work permit that I had to get from my school in order to authorize me to have a job at a young age
  • When I worked there I would arrive at around 5:00 am and begin my day by going out to the “caddy shack” and waiting to be asked by a player to go out and caddy a round of 18
  • I made an average of $70 a round, and eventually ended up with a “regular” who would take me out every week or so
  • A 5-star and 5-diamond resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado
