• Interpreting orders: Reading order invoices to determine which items to send out
• Retrieving items: Selecting items from inventory based on the order
• Checking quality: Ensuring items are in good condition and meet company standards
• Wrapping and packing: Wrapping items securely and packing them for shipping
• Stacking: Safely stacking items in shipping containers
• Updating inventory: Recording items removed and weighing packages
• Loading: Loading goods onto pallets for shipping

Responsible to schedule on-site surveys and provide risk control reports to insurance industry clients.

Expected to manage assignments you accept, successfully secure customer appointments within a local territory and complete work assignments on time.

*Travel to local commercial business operations (i.e.) retail businesses, restaurants, hotels, apartment buildings and complexes, construction operations and jobsites, various types of manufacturers, churches, schools, etc.

* Access the risk for various commercial insurance lines of business that can include Property, General Liability, Workers Compensation, Auto / Fleet, Products Liability, Inland Marine and Builders Risk.

• Receiving shipments: Unloading materials from vehicles and moving them to storage areas
• Storing and stacking: Selecting storage locations, assembling items, and stacking them in pallets or crates
• Picking, packing, and loading: Picking, packing, and loading products onto trailers or to designated areas
• Maintaining inventory: Following inventory control instructions to stack loads in the correct storage bays and rotating stock so that older items are sold or shipped first
• Inspecting machinery: Performing regular maintenance on forklifts and other tools to ensure safety and determine when repairs are needed
• Reporting issues: Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies
• Keeping the warehouse clean: Maintaining a clean work area and keeping the warehouse orderly
