Sophomore student attending Pasadena City College Part-Time Majoring in Business Administration Management. Looking for a Part-Time job as a Security Officer in a museum environment. Transportation is not a problem for me and I believe my experience as a Security Officer at the Getty Museum could be very helpful in any campus. - Protect art galleries from theft or intentional damage.
- Observe and report suspicious activity throughout the campus.
- Answer questions and provide medical assistance when needed.
- Clear radio communication with control during patrol and requesting access.
- Frequently patrol rooftops, basements, galleries, storage rooms, parking lots, and public areas.
- Restrict access according to gate's list from both employees and the public.
- Create incident reports of anyone in need of medical assistance and those who refuse assistance.
- Lock and secure doors with the assistance of control.
- Assist with traffic operations when posted.
- Manage the security front desk by answering calls, checking people in and out, issuing badges to visitors.
- Oversee cameras for suspicious activity throughout the building and parking areas.
- Receive, weigh, and subdivide raw materials in strict accordance with manufacturing procedures; loads into automatic equipment and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper mix of ingredients, monitor process including appropriate temperatures.
- Troubleshoot any equipment/process problems and resolve as quickly as possible.
- Perform changeover from one product or batch to another; disassemble and clean equipment; reassemble equipment for next batch.
- Maintain required logs and other records accurately and completely.
- Operate drum lifter, forklift and pallet jack to transport raw materials or finished product, and scales to weigh bulk materials when necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Perform solder inspection to meet IPC standards.
- Communicate any discrepancies with both the production supervisor and the lead engineer.
- Report any quality violations and create MRB reports to the quality control database.
- Utilize different kinds of instruments to determine measurements, hardness, and thickness.
- Inspect hard pot and soft pot for smooth sanding.
- Perform in-process, receiving, and final inspection.
- Perform document control and inventory control.
