• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and removing contaminants such as rust, old paint, or scale
• Set up and adjust sandblasting equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order
• Select and load abrasive materials such as sand, grit, or other blasting media into the sandblasting equipment

• Review and comprehend detailed work instructions, blueprints, or schematics
• Understand the specifications and requirements for assembling various components
• Perform manual assembly of parts or products using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment
• Use manufacturing machinery and equipment for tasks such as cutting, drilling, or soldering, depending on the nature of the assembly work
• Utilize computer systems to record and input work orders
• Scan barcodes or use electronic systems to track the progress of materials through the production process
• Use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, clamps, exacto-knives, allen wrenches, tweezers, wire cutters, to assemble parts
• Inspect components at a microscopic level to ensure they meet quality standards
• Use basic math skills to measure
• Read and understand written work instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures related to the manufacturing process
