As the recovery homes General Manager, I ran the day-to-day operations. My job included phone screenings for potential clients, I made calls to providers for referrals, made contacts with the Department of Corrections, the Littleton P.D., the Grafton and Coos County Drug Court Teams. I was in charge of the in-take process when a new client homes, I helped the new in-takes secure funding, food, cell phones, and other resources. I conducted UA's and Breathalyzers. I performed house checks to make sure all of the homes were clean and in working order. I worked closely with the house Peer Leaders on conflict resolution and gave assistance when needed.

• As a CRSW at Blue Heron Neurofeedback and Counseling I provide Peer Recovery Support Services to all Medication Assisted Recovery clients as well as serve as the Recovery Coach to all of the Grafton County Drug Treatment Court participants. Additionally, I do weekly check-ins with each participant and verify weekly meeting lists.

• I am a Peer Specialist for the Rapid Response Mobile Crisis Team, on call Monday- Friday 5-11 pm. As a Peer Specialist I am required to have a quick response time to all deployments from Access Point (988) and dispatch to any location, in my catchment area, to someone seeking assistance and support with substance misuse or mental health crisis. My primary role in this position is to utilize crisis de-escalation techniques upon entrance to the location, secure a network connection, and connect clients to a master’s level Clinician virtually. Following the call, it is the responsibility of the Peer of the Peer Specialist to assist in arrangements to carry out the recommendations of the clinician.

• As an exit coordinator I worked individually with clients to help create aftercare plans to best support their recovery after completion of inpatient residential treatment and assisting with setting up interviews, intake assessments, and scheduling appointments. Within my role I am also responsible for conducting intakes for new clients seeking treatment and running a variety of groups with clients throughout the day.

• Starting at the Serenity Center as a volunteer I worked my way up through trainings and job dedication. I became a CRSW, CHW, Parenting Journey in Recovery Facilitator, and the Volunteer Coordinator. Daily duties included training volunteers on various policies, procedures, ethical guidelines, one on one peer recovery coaching, telephone recovery support, resource referrals, system navigation, crisis intervention, and facilitation of a variety of mutual aid meetings.
