Why EMT?

I have minimal experience in the medical field. However, I believe I have all the intangibles to become an amazing EMT. My years as a software engineer taught me discipline and how to work with others to achieve a common goal. I love being a leader but I know when to step aside and follow others that have more experience. I enjoyed my time as software engineer but my true desire is to help people. I have a lot of compassion and now I have the ability to turn my empathy into a career. I have no clue where this journey will take me but I am beyond excited to start it.
