Accomplishments
Documented and resolved fuel leaks which led to better and proper maintance of all our vehicles.
Supervised team of 28 staff members.
Achieved amazing results through effectively helping with and initiating new tasks to ensure mission readiness.Supported the construction of a flight line at Yuma Arizona.
Worked at the communications facility operating radio and satellite phones for communication with all key-personal and keeping track of all missions and jobs.
Supported a group of Engineers at Oak Grove NC, in the rebuilding of a flight line by transporting concrete, dirt, 600 gallons of water, loading and off loading equipment and vehicles needed for this task to come to a success.
Transported live ammunition for multiple operations. 45,360 of 5.56 live, 10,000 5.56 blanks. 5 live smoke Grenade hand smoke green, 8000 live rounds of 7.62.
I was sent to Panama City Florida to work alongside the Air Force and learn how to operate their fuel transportation vehicles.
Refilled approx. 30k gallons of fuel to many and different types of aircraft inlcuding, F-22s, F-35s, F16s, F18s, F15s training jets, and F15 drones
During a operation in the deserts of CA in 29 Palms, I refilled approx. 2 Millions Lbs of fuel to many aircraft with either fixed wings or rotating wings systems such as Huwis, Cobras, CH53, as well as Russian birds, one attack and the other Cargo, in totalled i refilled approx. 320 aircraft during the Field Operation
I saved a Marine Corp Fire Truck that had gotten stuck in deep mud during a crucial operation, our fire fighters went about 3 feet deep into mud, they tried locking up the drive lines to get out of it but failed to do so, I arrived to the site where the fire truck was stuck and immediately access the situation, I organized a plan to get it unstuck and manage to do so, the plan was to grab 4, 10 foot chains, link 2 of them so it's 20 feet long, did the same for the other, then attached them to a MK27, and while the MK27 pull, I was inside the fire truck, had it on reverse and locking and unlocking the drive line locks for better mobility, traction, and security, assuring no one got hurt and no equipment was broken, cracked, or damage
Drove a duty vihicle transporting people from Cherry Point to MCALF Bogue to Atlantic NC from 0600 to 0300 the next day and showed back to work at 0800 full of motivation and ready to work
Spotted fuel leaks approx. 23 times on our trucks and trailers
Prevented approx. 18 fuel leaks on all trucks and trailers
I Prevented the leaks by doing throughout checks of all pipes, hoses, and equipment of the truck and trailer, annotating what was wrong, what needed fixing, and what could and could not work, in doing so, I learned and thought other marines more about the system in debt, and as soon as moisture was built up due to fuel, I found the source and prevent it from becoming a larger problem by communicating with our Mechanics on ways to mitigate the situation and fix the problem at hand
Denied trucks coming back from maintenance a totalled of 17 times due to issues not being fully fixed
My skills as a leader and outstanding individual were recognized and I was given the privilege of the billet of NCOIC-Assistent (None-comisioned officer in charge assistant) which required me to keep track of all marines under our leader ship, how truck runs were going and Roger all information from the NCOIC and our Staff Sergeant back to the marines.
The skills I demonstrated in order for me to receive the billet were setting an example of how things needed to get done, knowing the marines in a personal level to know how and what they were dealing with, worked as a link point for information, making sure it was always flowing through correctly to keep others informed of the plan of the day, who would be present and those who were not, where they would be located and for what purpose, I was in charge of 12 marines and I was directly under orders of our Motor Transport NCOIC and our Staff Sergeant
I have had the honor to receive a Certificate of Appreciation as well as a meteorites mass from the Marine corp and 1 certificate of appreciation from the Airforce
Never had any incidents nor accidents while transporting gear, personnel, and hazmat
I also thought approx. 30 marines how to operate all forms of tactical vehicles in our job as motor transport operators, from safety procedures, emergency procedures, hand and arm signals, maintenance, accident reports, and how to properly and efficiently use our equipment such as chains, binders, and straps
