Dealt with shipping boxes in a large freezer warehouse where they would then be sent out to customers

Moved boxes from production room to the conveyer lines using manual and motorized pallet jacks

Worked on line to scan in boxes to computer system and fill them with random frozen foods according to what the customer ordered online

Maintained clean workspaces by enforcing strict housekeeping guidelines for storage areas

Work is generally fast paced, as I generally have to fill at least 120 boxes every shift

Worked by a Mazak laser cutting machine that would cut parts out of solid steel or aluminum

The parts would be cut out of a sheet skeleton and would be brought over to my station on a giant table using an overhead crane

The parts would then be safely shaken out of the skeletons and sorted out onto rolling tables

Paperwork would then be done on each of the parts to make sure its all accounted for, and would then be taken to the next station to be either bent, threaded, painted, etc.

The work is very exhausting, and it gave me a good feel for a career in sheet metal

Worked on the line to complete orders that include sandwiches, salads, soups, barista drinks, etc.

Would also do work in the back of house to wash dishes, prepare ingredients for the main entrees, or take out the trash

Sometimes would also work in the dining room to bring food out to tables and wipe them off when customers leave

Working here was generally fast paced and gave me some experience in the food industry

Worked as a bagger for the check out lanes

Also would have to go outside in the parking lot once in a while to bring shopping carts to the lobby

Mopped up floors whenever needed

Did garbage runs where I would go throughout the store and collect every garbage bag and take it to the garbage chute
