As a member of the US Army, I have not only been constantly mentored by those who lead me, but I have also constantly mentored those I lead. I find it a privilege to have a small part in someones overall success and I hope to be able to have a meaningful impact on people I offer advice to. Furthermore, I am a self motivated individual that understands how to set goals using the SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time bound) acronym. In this role as a peer mentor, I would find the work meaningful, and I hope to provide assistance to anyone who needs it.
