New sideline solution provides real-time access to video and data to empower coaches to make informed game day decisions instantaneously. Catapult has announced an agreement with the Southeastern Conference (SEC) for the sport of football. Earlier this year the (NCAA) Football Rules Committee approved the use of sideline video solutions for live review, beginning with the upcoming 2024 football season. The SEC will be the first college football conference to integrate Catapult’s sideline video technology across all 16 conference teams.
As a Primary Gameday Operator, my tasks included, but were not limited to: ensuring all equipment is accounted for, testing the Sideline Solution in both the booth and the field level, ensuring feeds are live from the shooting locations, setting up all devices as it was gameday, and ensuring video is playing smoothly. On game day, I present myself as a game-day technician.
