Accomplished vendor and distribution executive that thrives on business development opportunities that add significant revenue and operating profit to the organization. Experience on both sides of the distribution ecosystem having served two major HDD manufacturers and four major distributors (Arrow, Marshall, Quantum, Seagate, Bell Micro, Avnet, and Tech Data (acquired by Apollo Global June 2020, Synnex merger announced March 2021)). Part of five acquisitions and one public offering. Founded Tenex Ventures in 2023 to provide options for High-Tech component/server manufacturer's that need laser focus on new products and markets, particularly AI.

Since leaving Tech Data:

• Formed Tenex Ventures, LLC in Washington State
• Negotiated AR financing package through First Citizens Bank, 3PL warehousing program through ShipCalm, and a cloud ERP system with Acumatica
• Currently recruiting large suppliers/customers

Key Tech Data accomplishments :

• Created/Implemented the Tech Data GCC Americas OEM R6R8 strategy - grew business in three years from nothing to 90M in FY21 at 7.5% margins. Transformed the sales team from transactional to value add
• Achieved 4% CM for FY21 YTD
• Largest CM $$ to Colleague ratio for GCC Globally
• Recruited and signed STX Systems franchise as exclusive partner - anticipating 25M by FY21 close at 8% margins - targeting 100M by FY23
• Created/drove TD GCC Champions Club - recognized as Best-in -Class by many suppliers and colleagues
• Created and implemented many new strategic growth programs to grow the GCC business globally including Veritas, Kaminario, IP Infusion, Infoblox, Broadcom Renard and Broadcom Switch, Broadcom Sonic
• Won manufacturing partner business with STX Systems for STX Lyve Drive and STX Laguna Seca programs

Previous Role accomplishments

• Convinced Quantum management team to invest in the channel - Grew Quantum distribution business globally from 200M to 2B in 4 years(1993 to 1997). Ran global pricing and strategy.
• Promoted to Director of the Americas (Quantum) in 1997.
• Convinced Seagate management to re-enter the retail HDD segment - now a 2B annual revenue contributor
• Created and implemented the "Channel of the Future" global strategy for Seagate in 2002. (as global channel Marketing leader)
• Doubled the Bell Micro HDD revenue from 2004 to 2008
• Ran Bell Micro/Avnet LPGA Classic for all 4 years of our commit - extremely well-received by vendors and customers.
• Served as storage market consultant to many Embedded OEM accounts
• During Thailand floods in 2012, added an incremental 25M in HDD profit to bottom line of Avnet (over 2 quarters). Avnet/Seagate October '11 quarter was 65M at 30% margin.
• Grew Avnet Americas Components business from 15M per Qtr to 100M per Qtr (then eliminated low margin business for 60M per Qtr run rate)
• Served on the Board of Directors of Child Advocates of Silicon Valley from 2012 - 2016. Recruited Silicon Valley companies to provide support for the over 2000 foster children in the Silicon Valley - 1.2M annual budget
