I am part of a two man team that installs various forms of hurricane shutters. Most shutters are manually operated, but others are electric roll down shutters which must be wired into the house for power. I am responsible for the organization of specific supplies and tools needed on the job site each day. Job sites change daily, sometimes visiting multiple places in one day.
Mostly manual labor with some heavy equipment operation such as augers, skid steers, forklifts and excavators. Attention to detail is required for exact measurements of court sizes, net heights and building material purchasing. Improved time management by streamlining and documenting the installation process so that each step is done in the correct order.
Completed basic maintenance work as a team in homes and offices to ensure proper and safe functioning of amenities. These tasks included minor electrical work, air duct cleaning, assisting with a/c installs and repairs, small plumbing adjustments and other indoor and outdoor basic duties. Some experience in underground toning for tracing and identifying cables in networking, telecommunications, and electrical systems.
