2002-2008 Patrol Division

• Received Daniel S. Wasson Award during police academy training.
• Awarded numerous Meritorious Service, Certificate of commendations and Unit citations for exceptional high risk operations and life saving interventions
• Served as a member of the bicycle unit during patrols and special events.
• Initial responsibilities included maintaining visible presence in assigned areas, conducting security checks of commercial and residential properties, monitoring traffic and enforcing driving regulations. Secure scenes of accidents, disturbances or crimes to ensure safety

2004-2022 Joined the department's Marine division.

• Certified as Public safety diver trained specifically for sub surface evidence recovery, rescue and other underwater investigations, recovery, investigating vessel sinkings and fires, boating accidents and deaths
• Obtained DEEP (Dept. of Energy and Environmental Protection) State of Connecticut certification to educate and administer testing for SBC (Safe Boating Certificates) and CPWO (Certificate of Personal Watercraft operation) license.
• Certified NSBC (National Safe Boating Council) instructor.
• Obtained OUPV 6-pack USCG license.
• Responsible for all unit members’ training, equipment duties and responsibilities, interdepartmental coordination, planning and execution.

1986- 1993 Automotive Technician

• Successfully attended and graduated Porter and Chester Institute
• Completed apprenticeship at Brangaccios Auto Transmission, gaining hands-on experience in automotive repair.
• Worked as a technician, service advisor, and manager at various auto dealerships and specialty shops including Subaru, Porsche, Audi, and BMW, providing high-quality automotive service and customer support.
• Obtained ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Master Technician certification
• Owned and operated Autotech Automotive for 10+ years, overseeing daily operations, managing finances, supervising staff, ordering parts, handling customer service and complaints, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations in Connecticut.
