  • Takes the lead in collaborating with scientists and other CSB program staff in facilitating all aspects of systems evaluation, design, and application, including, when necessary, business process re-engineering and the utilization of a variety of the latest technical approaches and methods for various architectures, including web-based technology
  • Manages policies, procedures, personnel, databases, applications, and hardware and supports the rigorous application of informatics standards, messaging standards, security standards, quality assurance efforts, and other Federal information principles and practices
  • One of my key responsibilities is to consult with clients to identify and specify survey and research methods and requirements
  • I develop functional systems requirements and specifications, conduct feasibility studies and trade-off analyses, develop cost estimates, prepare business cases, and define systems scope and objectives
  • As a technical consultant on contracts or grants for informatics and scientific and epidemiologic studies, I have served as a nationally recognized expert in this area, providing scientific advice and consultation on solutions to critical problems that require creativity in generating new hypotheses, approaches, and standards to be used by DCPC/CSB and nationwide by others
