- Supervise the battalion's training programs with respect to crew served weapons, local security, and convoy operations.
- Serve as the senior 0869 mentor within the battalion, paying special attention to movement of personnel, Launcher Chief assignment, and mentorship of the Battery FACs in the firing batteries.
