Experience working in the community of Humboldt beginning after high school mentoring youth as an assistant Youth Minister at the local church. Occupations held though out the years have provided experience in team leading, management, organization, as well as dealing with high stress situations. Other attributes to consider is the knowledge obtained pursuing an undergraduate degree in Psychology, with many classes having an emphasis on Human Development, Family Structures, and Behavior Analysis, and experience Mentor working as a Teachers assistant at Humboldt State University, and Collage of the Redwoods. . A strong sense of community has been instilled by parents who always worked within it in one fashion or another, parent being a minister in the community, and both working in the schools system. This sense of community was also enforced through volunteered for various non profits such as Humboldt Mediation and River Life Foundation, and starting a fundraiser for the Raven Project through Psi Chi at Humboldt State University.
