• Reviewed work plans and blueprints to ascertain all requirements for project.
• Cut metal components to required lengths using torches, grinders, and bandsaws. Welded and assisted in welding procedures in fabrication process of steel members. Maintaining safe procedures for hot work process.

• Responsible for all daily inspections on all boom lifts, forklifts, scissor lifts and rigging. Also inspections regarding all safety equipment such as body harnesses, cables, retractable, and life lines.

• Responsible for ensuring all bolts are installed correctly and tightened to strength using TC wrench and Pneumatic drill.

• Securing all work areas, permits, filling out job hazard awareness forms and pre task plans forms. Maintaining a clean house and ensuring all tools are in safe working conditions.

• Inspected work area, maintained a clean, organized working area. Cleaned the break station and sea container with all work tools, safety equipment and bolts.
• Responsible for plumbing up columns and ensuring the columns are on grid, installing columns and ensuring all columns are torqued to proper specifications.
• Assisting the general forman in setting up layout and surveyor tools. Checked to make sure are lasers, computers and sight levels are working properly and fully charged.
• Organizing the lay down areas for deliveries of steel members. Assisting in organizing the steel in order for erection process. Labeling/Numbering all steel members the proper number.
• Making sure all tools, safety equipment and rigging equipment are inspected before and after use. Checking the site to make sure everything has been put away at the end of each shift.
• Hooking up pieces of steel to the crane for the duration of erection process and making sure the next set of steel is ready for pick with the crane.

• Assisted in deliveries of glass and materials. Organized lay down areas for glass and materials.
• Installed window sills for glass window installations.
• Organized tool boxes and maintained clean work areas and secured work areas.
• Responsible for organizing each floor of the building with the correct glass windows in sequential order per blueprint.
• Helped in removal of debris and trash to trash areas located outside of building. Complied with company policy of proper signal persons for forklift usage and making sure the areas were safe when en route to trash area.
