• Assigned to prototype machining department as toolmaker in support of both engineering and manufacturing.
• Currently working as a CMM programmer since 2019 using Calypso software to create programs to measure various prototype and production parts
• Measured and scribed plastic and metal stock with extreme accuracy to prepare for automated machine production.
• Reduced machine downtime by performing regular maintenance and repairs on die sets and equipment.

Responsible for repairing and trouble shooting dies for metal stampings with the use of lathes, mills, grinders, welders and heat treating equipment. Received a UAW journeyman's card while employed.

Responsible for repairs involving machining, welding and metal spray on various shafts, bearing housings and other intricate metal parts related to electric motors.

Responsible for the production of plastic injection molds using equipment found in machine shops.

Responsible for the production of valve stems, strainer baskets, babbitt bearings, studs, and various nuts and bolts. Sent out to different power companies around the United States to draw detailed prints of various job parts. Operated the CNC depart with the use of Fadal, Boston Digital, and Dynapath CNC mills. Completed the Tool and Die apprenticeship courses through Delta College while employed with Schmidt.

Attached to the USS Simon Lake AS-33 and assigned to the machine shop. Responsible for the production of intricate metal parts and tool support of the Navy's Ballistic submarine base in Holy Loch, Scotland. Manufactured various shafts, pins , gears, bushings and sleeves, etc.
