With many years of experience working with others in either employment or group settings, certain tasks and objectives were established that required a strong sense of teamwork in order to complete them. I've always had a sense of natural leadership skills because I've been told that I have good people's skills since I'm easy to talk to. It's important, in terms of building trust, to reach out to others, and listen and respect their opinions because that's the only way people can work together in a cohesive unit in order to accomplish those objectives.

I was recently a member of the Gamma Theta chapter of the honor fraternity, Phi Sigma Pi, at LSU. I had only been with the organization for just over a year, and last month, in April 2022, during our banquet ceremony, I was honored to receive two separate awards. My first award was for Outstanding Fellowship where I was honored for my attempts to create a strong sense of brotherhood in the chapter by reaching out to others. Similarly, I also received the Unsung Hero award that was given to the member who most exhibited the certain attributes of what a member should uphold: leadership, scholarship, and fellowship.
