Experienced Senior Trooper with a distinguished law enforcement career spanning more than 15 years, beginning in 2008 as a Reserve Alabama State Trooper following graduation from the Reserve Trooper Academy. Hired by the Anniston Police Department in August 2009, serving as a police officer until April 2012, when I transitioned to the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office to further my career and secure participation in the RSA retirement system prior to implementation of Tier II.
During my approximately two years as a deputy with the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office, I demonstrated strong investigative abilities and leadership potential, earning promotions to Investigator and subsequently Chief Investigator. I also served as Acting Chief Deputy before accepting the opportunity to pursue my career goal of becoming an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Trooper.
While attending the ALEA Trooper Academy, I earned the Physical Fitness Award, demonstrating a strong commitment to discipline, physical readiness, and professional standards. I successfully completed the ALEA Field Training Program in 2021 and, later that year, became a Field Training Officer (FTO).
Throughout my career, I have developed extensive experience in criminal investigations, crash investigations, roadway patrol, DUI enforcement, scene security, and public safety. I am recognized for producing clear and accurate reports, following directives and orders, exercising sound judgment, and maintaining a professional approach in challenging situations.
I have consistently demonstrated that I am self-motivated, proactive, dependable, and committed to serving the public and performing my duties. My progression from Reserve Trooper to Chief Investigator and ultimately to a Senior Trooper reflects my dedication to law enforcement, continuous professional development, leadership, and the pursuit of excellence.
